JOHN MCDOUGALL Cape Ray, NL August 8, 1937 - May 20, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late John McDougall announce his passing at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques on Sunday, May 20th, 2007 at the age of 69 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sisters: Francis (Tom) Tobin, Kay (Caleb) Carter, Port aux Basques, Annie White, O’Reagan’s; brothers: Hughie (Mae) Lavoy, AB, Lockie, Vincent (Brenda), Port aux Basques, Jimmy (Doreen), O’Reagan’s, Kevin (Yvonne), Cape Ray, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Christina; parents Emily and Lockie; brothers: Martin, Duncan, Chesley and brother-in-law Tom White. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port aux Basques on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service took place on Wednesday, May 23rd at 1:00 p.m. from the Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church in St. Andrew’s with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Andrew’s. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the family.
