It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Buckle announce his passing at the Long Term Care Unit in Forteau on June 4th, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn brother Wilfred; sister-in-law Margaret and their children: Caroline, Rosita, Darren, Dwight and Leona, and their families with whom he resided for 33 years; also brothers Jack and Edward (Sylvia); sister Alice Lee (James) and a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Caroline Buckle and sisters Julie O’Brien and Annette Marshall. Visitation took place at the Roman Catholic Church Chapel in West St. Modeste on Tuesday and Wednesday, from where the Funeral Service took place at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7th with Father Tim Moriarity officiating. Interment followed at Our Lady of Labrador Church Cemetery in L’Anse au Loup. As expressions of sympathy flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Homes Ltd., L’Anse au Loup.
