<p>BALL ETHEL November 14, 1914 - June 30th, 2007 Deer Lake, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Ball announce her passing on Saturday, June 30th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook at the age of 92. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Maxine (John) Chaulk, Deer Lake, Sophie (Terry) Ball, Ottawa, ON, Peggy (John) Caines, Edmonton, AB, Margaret (Pleman) Manuel, Gander, Joy (Walter) Ball, Hearts Delight, Ellen Ball, Deer Lake, Scott (Carol) Ball, Deer Lake; sister: Edith Roberts, Deer Lake; brothers: Jim Wight, Toronto, ON, Glesby Wight, Deer Lake, Alan (Margaret) Wight, Botwood; 32 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Scott; children: Valetta King, Yvonne Ball, Louise Thomas and infant daughter; parents: Alfred and Bertha Wight; grandsons Trevor Ball and Darren Thomas; sister: Alma and brothers Ned, Ruben and Harry. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held today, Tuesday, July 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Deer Lake, Pastor Terry Snow officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal cemetery, High Street. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
