LIZZIE MARGARET MARTIN Corner Brook, NL August 26th, 1929 - July 6th, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lizzie Martin announce her passing on Friday, July 6th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 77 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Edgar (Pansy) Martin, Bonne Bay Pond and E. Harvey (Ruth) Martin, Pasadena, grandchildren: Angela, Travis, Melissa, Michelle and Evan, great-grandchildren: Alex, Erin and Victoria, sisters: Mary White, Stephenville and Olive (Gord) Stagg, Corner Brook, brother Ken (Joyce) Wiseman, Corner Brook. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ross Hedley Martin, 1987, parents Charles and Amy Wiseman, brothers Edward, Harold, Max and Gord. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 8th at 2:00 PM from the First United Church, Park Street with Rev. Patricia Melindy officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the 5th and 6th Floor Enhancement Committee or to a charity of one’s choice.
