It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nellie Flowers announce her passing on Thursday, July 5th, 2007 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Cecil, Margaret (Walter) Sinyard and Elsie (Ralph) Yetman, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brothers George and Morris, sister Dolly. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, sisters Margaret, Millicent and Phyllis, brothers Bruce and Stanley. Friends may visit the United Church, North West River on Saturday from the hours of 7-9PM and on Sunday 10-12 noon from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 8th at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at the Community Cemetery, North West River. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Diabetic Association. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
