It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Pynn announce that she passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday, July 16th, 2007. Leaving to mourn with precious memories; three daughters: Joy Wells (Walter), Corner Brook, Juanita Pike (Wayne), Brampton, ON and Jocelyn Rose (Ches), Steady Brook; one son: Tyrone Pynn (Wanda), Corner Brook; precious grandchildren: Lori (Al), Jeffrey (Karen), Jackie (Colin), Camille (Peter), Danielle, Dean (Joy), Leanne (Scott), Matthew (Tara), Jonathan (Megan); precious great grandchildren: Erin and Jillian; special niece: Shirley Mosher; sisters: Jessie Simms, Corner Brook and Pearl Noel, Iowa; sister-in-law: Melinda Piercey, Corner Brook; brother-in-law: Fred Pynn (Tillie), Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Pearl McCarthy (Pete), Ontario, Kay Harvey (Ron), British Columbia, Joan Pynn, Corner Brook, Muriel Pynn, Corner Brook, Winnie Pynn, Ontario, as well as many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Ford, September 21, 2000; parents: John and Rosanna; stepmother: Sarah; sisters: Edith Dawe, Elizabeth Piercey and Louise Piercey; brothers Walter Piercey, Jacob Piercey and Robert Piercey. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 19th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive. Majors Ron and Joyce Stuckless officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish foundation.
