It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Parsons announce his passing at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, NS on Tuesday, July 17th at the age of 77 years. Born in Rose Blanche, he was the son of the late Hezzikah and Rosanna Parsons. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his family: Ada, wife of 55 years; sons: Roy (Winnie), Alex (Lisa), Jackie (Elizabeth), Mark (Edwine); daughter Rosanna (Corey Herritt); 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters: Violet, Elizabeth and brother George Robert, along with a large circle of loving relatives and friends. He was predeceased by son Melvin (1992); 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation took place on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 21st at 2:00 pm from St. Michael’s & All Angels Anglican Church, Rose Blanche, officiated by Walter Keeping. Interment following at Hillside Haven Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques.
