JOHN JEREMIAH HUNT MEADOWS, NL October 11th, 1930 - July 29th, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Jeremiah Hunt announce his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 29th, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Joan Doreen; son: Wade (Leonora); grandchildren: Brandon, Cassandra and Cory; stepdaughter: Joanne (John McGriesh); step-grandchildren: Darrell, Johnnie and Melissa; brothers: David (Isabel), Frederick (Carolyn) and Wayne (Patsy Davis); sisters: Betty, Joyce (Alan Wilby), Marion (Lloyd Burton) and Gloria (Moody Wells); sisters-in-law: Joyce MacLam, Joan Hunt and Elaine Chubbs, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Marilla, brothers Don and Ralph, mother-in-law: Clara Ellen Reeves. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Church beginning Wednesday afternoon from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 2nd at 2:00 PM. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Holy Trinity Church Building Fund, Meadows. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
