Shirlene Mary BENNETT Stephenville Crossing, NL September 2, 1966 - August 2, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirlene Mary Bennett announce her sudden passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday, August 2nd, 2007 at the age of 40 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories two daughters: Kristal and Tara Lynn, both of Fort McMurray, AB; parents: Marjorie and Leo Bennett, St. George’s; sister Carolyn (Ricky) Swyers, St. George’s; brothers: Anthony, Randy (Sylvia), St. George’s, Gary (Sylvia), Branton, ON, Troy and Craig, Fort McMurray, AB; friend Rod Simon, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Paul; grandparents: Margaret and George Bennett, Jessie and George Hannon. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in St. George’s on Saturday from 7-9 p.m., Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 7th at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
