MARTHA JANE MACARTHUR South Branch, NL June 8th, 1925 - April 19th, 2008 						 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martha Jane MacArthur announce her passing on Saturday, April 19th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Ray (Doris) MacArthur, South Branch; daughters: Laura (Charlie) Gillam, South Branch, Debbie Cormier (Pat Rotmark), Gearldton, Ont, Mary (Pat) Porter, Toronto, Ont, Theresa (Duane) Ross, Stephenville, Rena (Reg) Assad, Geraldton, Ont. and Valerie (Neil) Sweetapple, Calgary, Alb; daughter-in-law Clara MacArthur, Codroy; grandchildren: Lisa, Michelle and their mother Joyce, Winston, Lenny, Leah, Shane, Lori Ann, Shelly, Kory, Konrad, Sheldon, Erica, Ashley and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters: Pearl Gabriel and Ann (Mark) Bennett, Stephenville. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril, son Neil, sisters Doris and Eileen, brother Charlie. Friends may visit St. Sylvester’s Roman Catholic Church, South Branch on Monday and Tuesday from where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd at 2:00 PM with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, South Branch. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
