Passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on August 16, 2007 Gordon George Clarke at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn his 5 children: Harold Clarke (Pearl) Grand Bend Ontario, Linda Smith (Bruice), River Glade NB, Yvonne Brown (Doug), Oshawa Ontario, Brenda Preston, (Gary), Curling NL, Howard Clarke (Norma), Angus Ontario; brothers: Steve (Mable), Garland (Joyce), Hayward, Harry, Don (Bobbie), Jerry (Vicki); sisters: Marie Samms, Ruby Wiseman, Catherine Haldane (Nelson); 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Mina, son Harvey, parents Elsie & William, brothers Melvin & Bernard, sister Loraine. The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 19th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling Street Reverend Gordon Druggett officiating followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital 5th & 6th floor long term care, or a charity of ones choice.
