PAUL E. TOBIN 1952-2007 It is with the greatest of sadness the Tobin/Butt family announce Paul’s sudden passing on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by wife Paulette (nee Butt), his four children, sons: Nelson (Brandy), Christopher; daughters: Tara and Kayla; mother, Mary Tobin; brother Leo (Belinda); sisters: Marion Guy (Jerry), Barbara Anne, Sheila Canning (Gerald), Joan Buckle, Jane (Jerry Smith); special cousin David Murphy (Diane); mother-in-law Philomena Butt; brothers-in-law: Gary Butt (Patsy), Keiren Butt (Hazel); extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends. He is predeceased by his father Peter Tobin, brother-in-law Wayne Buckle, father-in-law Nelson Butt and special friend Larry Brisbois. Paul will always be remembered for his kind loving manner and his love for his family. Paul’s favorite past time was the great outdoors and especially landing the perfect catch. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 10:30 AM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
