George Robert LEE Stephenville, formerly of St. George’s December 20, 1932 - September 4, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Robert Lee announce his passing at St. Clare’s Hospital in St. John’s on Tuesday, September 4th, 2007 at the age of 74 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Corina; daughter Rachel; son Andrew; two brothers: Clyde Lee, Fortune and Tom Lee, St. John’s; two sisters: Laura Hefferton, St. John’s and Lydia Skinner, Halifax, NS; sisters-in-law: Loretta Lee, St. George’s and Myrtle Lee, Stephenville, along with a large circle of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents George and Rachel Lee; brothers: Charles Lee, Cyril Lee, Doug Lee and Jack Lee; sisters: Claire Major, Ruth Thornhill and Edith Lee. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s RC Church in St. George’s on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m. Father Gerard Patry officiating. Cremation will follow with a private burial taking place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
