HILDA HUDSON ST. GEORGE’S, NL OCTOBER 20, 1918 - SEPTEMBER 12, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda Hudson announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, September 12th, 2007 at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Barbara (Harry) Wooten, Washington; sons: Eddie (June) and David, St. George’s; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Affleck; brothers: Alton Butt, Earl Butt and Thurland Butt; sisters-in-law: Adeline Butt, Sybil Butt and Beaulah Butt; brother-in-law Edward Hudson, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles; parents: Frederick and Adelia Butt; brothers: Wilbert Butt, Max Butt and Ray Butt; sisters: Thelma Kryski, June Nelson, and Ella “Jean” Sheppard. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15th from St. George’s United Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathy Eddy officiating. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
