It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Cyril Goosney announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Winnie; son Bill (Arlene), daughter Tina (Paul) King; grandson B.J. (Allison). His sister Ella Scoville and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Cyril and Catherine Goosney. Funeral services will take place on July 28, 2018, 2p.m.  at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Stephenville, NL  with Reverend Kris Gosse officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
