It is with great sadness that the family of the late Viona White announce her passing on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Lloyd of 61 years; children: Larry (Lily), Eric (Nona), Krista and Donna (Brian); grandchildren: Anthony, Marina, Philip, Tomie, Delaney, Gaetan, Celeste, Bethany, Neil and Spencer; sisters and brothers: Yvonne, Loretta (Guy), Jim (Shirley), June (John), George (Jean) and Beverly (Roger); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Nettie Rideout, brother Guy, sisters Pauline, Shirley and Rhona, very special aunt Cora Maye. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Sunday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Deer Lake with Major Henry Bingle officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Building Fund.
