ELIZABETH JOSEPH NOSEWORTHY CURLING, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Noseworthy announce her passing on Friday, April 25th, 2008 at St. Luke’s Unit, Interfaith Home, in Corner Brook at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Joseph (Lou), Pasadena, Bernard (Delilah), Phonse (Shirley), Carl (Jean), all of Corner Brook, Kevin, Edmonton, AB, Paul (Rose), Edmonton, AB, Betty (Glen) Churchill, Corner Brook, Nathan, Corner Brook, and Michael (Darlene), Curling; 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brother: Kevin Canning, Halifax, NS, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Nathan Walter Noseworthy, October 25th, 2006; daughter: Mary Philomena Noseworthy; parents: John and Ann Canning; twin brother William; brother: John and sister Mary. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 28th , 2008 at 10:30 A.M. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling. Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
