It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Penney announce his passing at Corner Brook, Long Term Care on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Fay (Brian) Haines, Anthony, Darren (Shelly Ann), Shelly (Greg), and Sherry (Ben); 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers: John and Albert, sister: Mildred, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Darlene, daughter Jeanne and sister Elizabeth. A special thank you to the Nurses, Doctors, and staff at Long Term Care 2nd floor, south for your kindness, and compassionate care of pop during his stay there. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday, August 15 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Westside Pentecostal Tabernacle, Elizabeth Street on Thursday, August 16th at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to M S Society or to a Charity of one’s choice.
