It is with great sadness that the family of the late Venessa Smith announce her passing on April 12, 2018 at her home in Hastings, Ontario, at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Ron, Joseph (Vic), Park (Sadie), daughters: Jenny (Garry) Barry, Diane (Wayne) McCormick, Tammy (Darrell) Thomas, Mary White (Todd King), Emily (Bruce) Jesso, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sisters: Mary (Herb) Wilton, Priscilla (Van) Serrick, and Ruby Saunders, brothers: George (Lome), Elvis (Joan), Park, and sister in-law: Ruby Park. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Smith, sisters: Hilda Hussey and Kira Short, brother: John Albert (Abe) Park and her parents: Emily and Leslie Park. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach on Saturday, August 18th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, John’s Beach. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
