Barter, Eva Frances – It is with profound sadness that the family of Eva Frances Barter announces her passing, on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Western Memorial regional Hospital in Corner Brook , in her 70th year.

Dearly beloved wife of John for 52 years. Cherished mother of Nancy, Maisie (Craig), Dallas (Bruce), Dean, and Wayne (Karen). Devoted grandmother of Michael, Summer, Shannon, Josh, Alex, Olivia, Hope and Jack and great grandson James Barter, Much loved sister of Bill (Kitty), Tom (Debbie), Frank (Marilyn) Harriet (Gerald), Laura (Leo) and Ron (Dolores), and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Francis and Florence (Young) Lushman, and by four siblings – Beatrice, Mary, Martha Jane and Edgar. She will be deeply missed by her devoted caregivers, Trudy and Pansy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, from the hours 0f 2-4 and 7-9 PM at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Burgeo from where Funeral will take place on Friday, August 24 at 2 PM with Deacon Brenda Strickland officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.

The family is grateful for the many additional years we had with her, due to the miracle and gift of organ donation in 2003 and request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Canadian Blood Services, Organ and Tissue Donation Program.
