Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emily Patey announce her passing on Friday, October 15th, 2004 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 87th year. She was predeceased by her husband Archibald Patey and daughter Lorraine Tiller. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; daughters; Carol (Richard) Laniox, Ottawa, ON, Effie Clarke, Truro, NS, Donna (John) Webb, Comer Brook, and Diane (Joe) Fitzgerald, Halifax, NS; sons: Austin (Bernice), Gallants and Chris (Joan), Comer Brook. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4St. Marks Avenue on Saturday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service win be held on Monday, October 18th at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street. Rev. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the First United Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of ones choice.
