MICHAEL E. LECOINTRE MAINLAND, NL SEPTEMBER 20, 1928 - APRIL 30, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Michael LeCointre announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 54 years Florence; son: Percy; daughters: Pauline (Alcid) Lainey, Delsie (Phil) Young; grandchildren: Keith, Michael, Nelson, Marie, Elizabeth; great-grandchildren: Olivia, Emily; brothers: Martin (Lillian), Ernest (Annie), Raymond (Elvinia); sisters: Eva, Alice as well as a large circle nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Alphonsus and Emily LeCointre; brothers: Johnny, Baptiste; and sister Constance. Visitation will take place from St. Ann’s Chapel, Mainland on Friday beginning at 2 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mainland. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
