It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Caroline Hickman announce her passing on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: James “Bud” (Esther) and Lisa; grandchildren: Kelcie, Riley and Kevin; brothers Donald Bartlett and Kirk Bartlett (Roslyn); sister, Diane Murphy (Dale), as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Hickman; parents Donald and Pearl Bartlett, Brother Robert Bartlett and son Joseph Hickman.  Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Goose Bay on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21st at 2:00 P.M. from St. Andrews Anglican Church with Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Daffodil Place. A special Thank You is extended to Reverend Nellie Thomas and to Dr. Williams and Staff at Labrador Health Centre.
