Obituary of Elijah Loder
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elijah Loder announce his passing at Corner Brook Long Term Centre on Friday September 28th,2018 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers: Douglas (Maxine), Leonard (Millie), Boyd (Cindy); sisters: Nellie (Fred) Coombs, Margaret Pollard, Bernice Samson, Gertrude (Roland) Pinksen, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents: John and Florence Loder, sister Daphne (Cecil) Newman; brothers-in-law: Oliver Pollard and Hiram Samson. Visitation will take place at Transfiguration Anglican Church on Sunday September 30th from 2-4 and 7-8 pm. Funeral service will take place at Transfiguration Anglican Church on Monday October 1st at 2 pm with Rt. Rev. David Torraville officiating, internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
