It is with great sadness that the family of the late Grace Michelin Saunders announce her passing on October 6, 2018 at Labrador Health Center at the age of 85 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Judy (Frank), Clayton (Miriam), Doreen, Lillian (David), Gail (Harold), Peggy (Frank), David (Carrie), and Linda (Herman); 30 great grandchildren; 45 Great great grandchildren; and 32 grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by and last surviving child of parents James Michelin and Ruth Pottle; husband Joseph Saunders; sons Herbert, Vincent, Howard, and daughter Jane; granddaughter Loretta Saunders, numerous brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and friends. Friends may visit United Church in Goose Bay on Monday, October 8th from the hours of 2-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 9th at 2:00 PM from United Church with interment to follow at the Moravian Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
