CAROLYN ANN SHEARS-DOWNEY ST. DAVID’S, NL NOVEMBER 10, 1965 - MAY 7, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Carolyn Ann Shears-Downey announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the age of 42 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Justin; mother Marina Shears; brothers: Warren (Marion), Cory (Madonna), Chris (Norma), Darryl (Jackie); sisters: Joy (Lenny), Della (Kevin) Howlett, Donna (Larry) Hueser; brothers-in-law: Reginald (Cathy), Ricky, Timmy, Paul, James (Jackie), Patrick (Lenor); sisters-in-law: Donna (David) Morris, Peggy (Tommy); special aunt Margaret Shears, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Melvin Shears and brother Stewart. The family will be receiving friends at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, St. David’s on Thursday beginning at 2:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, St. David’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
