It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melita Billard announce her passing on Monday, May 12th, 2008 at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn her husband of 58 years, Onslow; sisters Cassie (Bob) Miller and Ruth (Cyril) Billard); brothers: Wallace (Lorraine) James and John (Jean) James, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Harvey and Beatrice James and sister Sylvia. Special thanks to staff at the Mountain Hope Manor where she resided for the past six months. Thanks to staff at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Hospital and the crew of the Marine Eagle. Friends may visit Grand Bruit United Church on Tuesday and Wednesday, from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 15th at 2:00 pm with interment at the United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
