COLLIER John Stanley October 30th, 1931 - May 14th, 2008 					 It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Stanley Collier announce his passing on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at St. Claire’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s at the age of 76 years. He was predeceased by his father Stanley, mother Susie (Skeard), brothers Fred and Harold, sisters Helena and Florence, granddaughter Michelle. Leaving to mourn his wife of 54 years Ivy, sons Jim (Bev), Rick (Kathy) and daughter Susan, grandchildren Tara, Brandon and Joseph, brothers Ralph (Bertha) and Norman, sister Ruby, brothers-in-law Art Piccott, Leo Strowbridge, Russell Strowbridge (Roberta), sisters-in-law Ella Stanley (Gordon), Winnie Prior and Alfreda Ingram. As well as a large circle of family and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James’ Anglican Church with Rev. Fudge officiating. Interment to follow at Barachois Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Tower Fund of St. James’ Anglican Church.
