It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Martin LeCointre announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the age of 74 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Lillian; two daughters: Phyllis (Bob), NB, Sherry (Gary), BC; three sons: Ricky (Jan), Scarborough, ON, Jim (Kay), Mainland, NL, Colin (Rita), Scarborough, ON; twenty-one grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ernest (Annie), Raymond (Elevina); two sisters: Eva Barter, Alice LeCointre all of Mainland, NL; mother-in-law Hilda Gillingham, Interfaith Home; sisters-in-law Maisie (Wallace) LeBoubon, Corner Brook, Marion Peddle, Ivy (Gord) Chark; brothers-in-law: William (Beatrice) Gillingham, Lloyd (Lola) Gillingham both of Cormack and a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Alphonsus and Emelia LeCointre; son Francis; brothers: Mike, Baptist, John and sister Constance. A memorial service will take place from St. Anne Chapel, Mainland on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 3:00 p.m with Father Edward Terry officiating.
