It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alonzo Mark Stagg announce his passing on May 15th, 2008 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Sarah (Sally); daughter: Gail Ryan; mother: Frances; brothers: Cyril, Ben, Meiven, Scott and Harold; sisters: Rachel, Shirley and Marie; grandchildren: Sharleen Ryan and Darryl Ryan; great grandchild: Austin, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father, Augustus; brother Lloyd and sister Vera. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, interment to followed at the United cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the family.
