It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lawrence Mugford announce his passing on Saturday, May 24th, 2008 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 84 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife: Hilda; children: Edna (Francis), Howard (Jocelyn), Harry (Haz), Lloyd (Clara), Irving (Annette), Richard (Jody), Loretta (Brian), Perry (Bunty) and Honora; sister: Marion (Dan) and Elsie (Peter); brother: Horace; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers: Jack, Mose, Will, Henry John and Matt; sister: Sara and grandson: Roger. Friends visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Church with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anglican Church. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
