It is with great sadness that the family of the late Almond Flynn announce his passing on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, at the age of 80 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary Sue Flynn; children: Allison Flynn (Tim Earle); brothers: Bill (Louisa), Clarence (Harriet), Clifford (Sophie), Eric (Clara); sisters: Una (Lloyd), Phyllis (Ken); sister-in-law Mary Flynn, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Edward and Pearl Flynn; brother Bob Flynn and nephew Sheldon Flynn. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Thursday and Friday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 14th at 2:00 pm at the Anglican Church. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
