Theodore Alexander (Ted) YOUNG St. George’s 1929-2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Theodore Alexander (Ted) Young announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Monday, June 16th, 2008 at the age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife of 10 years, Madonna; 4 children: Terry, Moncton, NB, Victor, DeSoto, Texas, Joan (Doug) Spotswood, Plano, Texas, Barbara (Bobbie), St. John’s; 6 stepchildren: Trudy (Bob), Andy (Melvina), Shelly (Calvin), Allison, all of Ft. McMurray, AB, Calvin, Creston, BC, Robin (Becky), Calgary, AB; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters: Loretta Lee, Barbara Kovich, both of St. George’s, Isabel MacDonald, Heatherton, Magdalen Cochrane, Stephenville, Janet (Thomas) Williford, Medical Lake, WA; brothers: Ivan (Alice), Barachois Brook, Dougie, St. George’s, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Marguerite (Meg); sisters: Imelda, Marie, Emma; brother Fintan and parents John and Nancy Young. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in St. George’s on Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where the Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, June 19th at 10:30 am, Father John Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
