SHIRLEY BEATRICE VIOLA STIRLING Corner Brook/Stephenville 1939 - 2008 Passed away suddenly, on Friday, June 20th, 2008, Shirley Stirling, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. Predeceased by her father Samuel; mother Anna May; stepfather Malcolm Walsh, brother-in-law Vince and sister-in-law Margaret. Leaving to mourn: one brother, Leonard (Bernie), six sisters: Olive (Ben), Brenda, Olga (Mike), Maxine, Debbie and Margie; many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and special friend Bill; also Evelyn and friends at Deer Lake Manor. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd, at 2:30 P.M. from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Stephenville, Reverend Gwendolyn Butler and Reverend Coombs officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to St. Augustine’s Parish Fund, Stephenville.
