ERNEST HARDY June 25, 1947 - June 28, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest Hardy announce his sudden passing on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 in his 61st year. Ernest Hardy was a retired Marine Atlantic employee. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife Jacqueline; daughters: Tracey (Wilson) Foote, Bonnie (Gordon) Hardy, April (Trevor) Leamon; grandchildren: Sarah, Rebecca, Heather, Haley; brothers: John (Stacey), Richard (Patsy); sisters: Mary (Gerry) Hardy, Maisie (Boyd) Ledrew, Sandra; brothers & sisters-in-law: Gordon, Lew (Margaret), Jean (Bill), Wayne (Joyce), Ivan (Wanda), Linda (Robert), Stewart (Debra), Barry, Diane (Jeff), Donna, Denise (Larry), and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ernest was predeceased by his mother & father Richard and Maisie Hardy; brother James Hardy, nephew Brett and father-in-law Charles “Chappy” Cluett. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, July 1st at 2:00 pm from St. James Anglican Church in Port Aux Basques. Interment following at Barachois Cemetery with Reverend Fudge officiating. “Always remembering the good times with family & friends”
