GORDON JOSEPH MUISE ST. GEORGE’S, NL SEPTEMBER 13, 1933 - JULY 4, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Gordon Muise announce his passing at Fox Pond, Flat Bay Brook on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Sarah in Mississauga, ON; sons: Daniel (Wanda), Flat Bay Brook; Walter (Amber), Saskatechwan; Vincent (Carol), Missassauga, ON; Gerard (Patricia) St. George’s; John (Vanessa), Brampton, ON; Gregory (Jannelle), St. George’s; D. J., Brampton, ON; Francis White, Flat Bay Brook; daughters: Patricia (Kenneth) Kearney, Boyle, AB; Marlene (Rick) LaCroix, Cambridge, ON; Melinda (Kenneth) Abbott, Mississauga, ON; Rose (Roger) King, Fort McMurray, AB; Mary (Dale) Watton, Alton, ON; long time companion Bernice Young, St. George’s; 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Gus (Mary) Muise, St. George’s, Peter Jr. (Mary( Muise, St. Geroge's; sisters: Olivera (Harold) Swyers, St. George’s, Elizabeth Brake, Stephenville Crossing, Theresa Marshall Muise, Springdale; numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Clayton Muise on March 3, 1957; five brothers: Walter, Victor, Peter, John Henry, Henry Joseph; six sisters; Lucy Muise, Lucy Drake, Evelyn Doyle Jones, Theresa Muise, Josephine Spicer, Jessie Colson Alexander; parents John and Mary Francis Muise. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. from where a memorial service will take place on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 4:15 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of ones choice.
