It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peggy Ford announce her passing on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her husband, Roy; son: Gary (Lois), Halifax; grandchildren: Amy and Carla Ford; sisters: Marsh Young, (George, deceased), Corner Brook, Margaret (Dew) (James) Hubbard, Tenn. USA, June (Gerald) Leggo, Parry Sound, Winnie (Gerard) Caines, Elliott Lake, Bonnie Mosher, her sister who has been by her side since her diagnosis, January, 07', Edmonton, AB, Judy (Douglas) Hiscock, Corner Brook, Wilfred (Hop) (Mary) Mosher, Parry Sound, William (Theresa) Mosher, Hamilton and Larry (Debbie) Mosher, Mississauga, ON; as well as a large circle of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Maud Mosher and brother Charles, 1966. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. And Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. A private funeral service will be held for family members only. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
