PHYLLIS ANTHONY Port Aux Basques, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis Anthony announce her passing on Sunday, July 27th, 2008 at the Charles LeGrow Health Centre, Port Aux Basques, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter: Jean Law (Wayne), Halifax, NS; brothers: James Parsons, Port Aux Basques and Maxwell Parsons (Violet), Botwood; grandchildren: Brent Law (Jennifer), Halifax; Craig Law (Cheryl), Portage La Prairie, MB, Sherry Kibbler (Biran), Edmonton, AB, Kelly Josey (Ryan), Edmonton, AB, Jennifer Anthony, Toronto, Jonathan Anthony (Kimberley), Whitby, ON; great grandchildren: Zachary Law, Jaxon and Brooklyn Law, Paige Kibbler and Nathaniel Anthony; son-in-law: John Dawe,Halifax; daughter-in-law: Barbara Anthony, St. John’s; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, William; parents: Emma and Ambrose Parsons; daughter: Angela Dawe; son: Charles Anthony; brothers: Alfred and Llewelyn Parsons; sisters: Gertrude and Elizabeth Parsons; sisters-in-law: Nora Parsons and Amy Parsons. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Monday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Reverend Fudge officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flower’s are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Soceity or to St. James Memorial fund.
