It is with great sadness that the family of the late Winnifred Blake announce her passing on Monday, August 4th, 2008 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s at the age of 74 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Doreen (Dalton) Hoskins, Carley (Wayne) Kendall, Eugene (Lynn Jeffers), David (Wanda), Barry (Ataomie); grandchildren: Denise, David, Lorraine, Blake, Amanda, Barry, Salina, Nicole, Timothy and Carter; great-grandchildren: Mia and Isabelle, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Winton, grandchild Cheryl, great-grandchild Denzel; brothers: Wilfred and Edward Lyall and sister Rose Lyall. Friends may visit the family residence in Northwest River on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 8th at 1:30 pm from the United Church, North West River. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
