THOMAS WALTER COLSON Corner Brook, NL July 26th, 1966 - August 15th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Walter Colson announce his sudden passing on Friday, August 15th, 2008 as a result of a tragic industrial accident. Thomas passed away peacefully in the presence of his family at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s at the age of 42 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Trina and friend Adam, Corner Brook, Christopher and Katie, Springdale; parents John and Jean Colson, Corner Brook; brothers: Don (Candace), Port au Choix and Glen (Erika), Corner Brook; sisters: Elizabeth Colson, Halifax, NS and Roxanne Cornick, Corner Brook; nieces: Amy, Jessica, Brittney, Melissa, Alisha, Haliee and Brianna, nephews: Brady and Devan, close family friend Darryl Cornick. As well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Sadie and Edward Colson and Archibald and Carrie Francis, uncles Olie Colson and Jack Colson, aunts Dolly Hillier and Joyce Edmonds. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th at 2:00 PM with Bishop Percy Coffin officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Trina, Christopher and Katie Education Fund.
