Daisy Pearl Hillier (nee Cooper) Deer Lake, NL January 2, 1928 - January 13, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Daisy Pearl Hillier announce her passing at her home in Deer Lake on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Donna Davis (Dan Ball) and Valerie Spence (Robin); grandchildren: Carolyn (Martin), Heather (Darren), Danielle (Tyler), Stephen (Nadine), Matthew (Suji) and Sarah (Aaron); great-grandchildren: Allison, Amber, Cameron, Hunter, Evan and Addison; sisters: Lillian Hutchings and Evelyn Ball; sister-in-law Mary Cooper; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clarke Hillier, son-in-law Elvis Davis, parents Thomas and Caroline Cooper, sister Muriel Chaulk, brothers Herb, Ward, Milton, Bruce and Carl. A special thank you to niece Phyllis Morris for her care in moms final days. Friends may visit the Salvation Army Citadel in Deer Lake on Monday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Majors Frederick and Louise Pond officiating. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, High Street. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the David C. Ball Memorial Fund or to the Daffodil Place.
