Adolphus Lodge Deer Lake, NL October 3, 1918 - September 2, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Adolphus Lodge announce his passing on Tuesday, September 2nd , 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Daphne Dureke (Ernest), Corner Brook, Albert (Cynthia), Deer Lake, Gerald (Ruby), Howley, Wayne (Phyllis), Deer Lake and Jackie Young (Robert Hussey), Deer Lake; grandchildren: John (Lori), James (Arlene), Wanda (James), Wendy (John), Wayne, Dianne (Conrad), Sonya (Byron), Susan (Jason), Shelley, Andy (Pamela), Angie (Stephen), Kayla, Kevin, Meagan and Daniel; great-grandchildren: Michael, Jessica, James, Parker, Jillian, Kassidy, Kiley, Daniel, Ethan, Jorja, Logan, Erin, Cain, Matthew, Emily, Ryan and Andrew; brother: Jesse (Annie), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Violet, daughter Judy, brothers: Gordon, Wilfred and Herbert. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th at 11 :00 AM from the Salvation Army Citadel with Major Lindsay Oxford officiating. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, High Street. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
