It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Dorey announce his passing on Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories wife Irene; children: Joanne (Dean) and Darrell (Wanda); grandchildren: Kendra, Andrew, Owen and Evan; brother Wilfred, as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents George and Lily Dorey; son Kelvin and brother Seymour. Visitors were received at the Anglican Church in Capstan Island on Wednesday and Thursday, from where the Funeral Service took place on Friday, August 22nd at 2:00 pm. Reverend Marlaine Leggo officiating. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery in L’Anse au Diable. Flowers received as expressions of sympathy were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’Anse au Loup.
