It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruth Neal announce her passing on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, at the age of 55 years. She will be sadly missed by her eight sisters; Mazie (Mark Joyce), Cynthia, Linda (Garfield Green), Eileen (Leo Burton), Donna (Terry Byrne), Bonnie (Reginald Young), all residing in Comer Brook, Sylvia (Dawson Janes) residing in Labrador City, and Gloria (Wayne House) residing in Port Saunders; three brothers, Harry (Elaine), Rodney (Lisa) both residing in Comer Brook and Perry (Brenda) residing in Deer Lake, her grandmother, Mrs. Effie Simmonds of Bonne Bay, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Mary Neal. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9, and Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 pm.. The funeral service will be held, on Sunday, January 18th, at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal. Tabernacle, Elizabeth Street, officiated by Pastor Calvin Andrews. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, Renal Dialysis Unit or to the charity of ones choice.
