PAYNE Fanny G. (nee Biggin) 1922 - 2008 Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008. Fanny Payne aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband: Gordon; brothers: Eli and Howard and parents: Elizabeth and William Biggin. Leaving to mourn daughter: Vera House (Guy); sons: Rufus (Linda) and Wayne (Clarissa); grandchildren: Marlowe House (Kelly), Laura House (Don), Erica Pieroway (Brent), Mark Payne (Sonya), Michelle Payne (Jason), Gordon Payne (Vanessa), Jennifer Payne (Paul) and Chris Payne; great-grandchildren: Cody, Megan, Jacob, Lucas, Kyra and Emily; sisters: Alice House (Douglas), Edith House (Henry), Ivy House and Elsie Payne; brother: Arch Biggin, as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Southview Nursing Unit, Agnes Pratt Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Resting at Holy Cross Church, Daniel’s Harbor on Friday, September 26th from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 27th at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Fanny’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
