It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Sheppard Jr. announce his passing on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, at the age of 67 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Louise; sons: Sean (Karen), Robert (fiancée Shannon); daughters: Mary-Lou (Allan), Allison (David), Bonnie Astorino (Mario), Shirley Parsons (Ivan), Mary Parsons and Dorothy Rogers (Robert); mother-in-law Daisy Hancock; grand-daughters: Kayla, Ashley and Nicole; grandsons: Sean, Andrew, Steven, Malcolm, Nathan, Jacob, Dustin, Dominico, Giacamo, Scott and Devon; brothers: Warren, Myles (Ruth); sisters: Louise (Ralph), Emma (Stan); brother-in-law George Maxwell, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Harold and Mary Sheppard; sister Marion Maxwell and sister-in-law Doris Sheppard. The funeral service will be held Wednesday October 8th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating followed by the interment at the church cemetery. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A reception will be held at St. James Church Hall following the funeral and burial service, all are welcome to attend.
