It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kelly Marie Wheeler, age 40 announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook, NL on October 19th, 2008. She leaves to mourn and celebrate her life with loving memories , her daughter, Kaitlin Wheeler; love of her life, Calvin Gardner; step-son: Shane Gardner; father: George Wheeler; step-mother: Mary Sullivan; sister: Karen Wheeler (Cathy); step-sister: Suzanne Sullivan (Greg); step-brother: Matthew Sullivan (Tracey); grandmothers: Mary Gould and Edith Wheeler; aunts: Heather Norman, Sylvia (Neil) Bursey, Marion (Pat) Lewis; uncles: Don Seymour, Richard (Ruby) Wheeler, Ian (Carol) Wheeler, Gerald (Cindy) Wheeler, Ralph (Nancy) Wheeler, Gordon (Maxine) Wheeler; special little nephews: William and Oliver Sullivan; cousins: Dana, Michael, Colin, Amy, Joey, Kristin, Duncan, Jordan, Melissa, Martina, Scott, Katherine, Allyson, Zachary, Anna and Elliot; her extended family: Mrs. Gladys Gardner (mother of Calvin), Calvin’s brothers and sisters: Lillian MacLean, Marie Gardner, Shirley Hindy, Blanche Gardner, Jack Gardner, Abe Gardner, Bill Gardner, Bonnie Gilbert, Lynn Anderson and Jean McCarthy. Kelly will also be deeply missed by her large circle of other relatives, friends and co-workers. Predeceased by her mother, Catherine (nee Gould); grandfathers: Michael Gould , Roland Wheeler; aunt: Dinah Seymour; uncle: Ken Gould. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment will follow on Thursday at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Baie Verte. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
