WOODWARD Vera Brooks, Alberta It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera Woodward announce her passing at her family residence in Brooks, Alberta on Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, husband Garfield Woodward; children: Annie Green (Seymore), Leonard Woodward (Cynthia), Helen White (Bruce), Tony Woodward, Susan Gaudon (Aaron), Garfield Woodward (Collette), Loretta White (Bruce) and Glen Woodward (Carla); grand-children: Trina Coles, Brian Green, Ricky Green, Jason Woodward, Andy Woodward, Jodi Woodward, Justin White, Scott White, David White, Riley Woodford, Blane Gaudon, Brent Gaudon, Shana White, Hanna Woodward and Holly Woodward; great-grandchildren: Brady Coles and Jenna Coles; brothers and sisters: Virginia Bursey (Fred), Stewart Laing (Grace), Evangeline Best (Roy), Tamsey Laing, Hazel Brown (Henry), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Louise Jane Laing; brothers: Walter Laing, Curling Laing, Leonard Woodward, Elderd Woodward, John Woodward, Elijah Woodward, Noah Woodward and Stewart Woodward; sisters: Jessie Campbell and Virginia Johnson. Friends visited St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Boat Harbour on Monday, from where the Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, October 21st at 3:30 pm. Interment followed at the Anglican Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
