Obituary of Henrietta Magdelena Obed

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henrietta Magdelena Obed announce her peaceful passing on November 7, 2018 at the Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony,  NL. She will be forever missed and remembered by her treasured children, Andrea (Peter), Joseph (Kathy), Harriet (Hugh), Emily (George), Sem, Johnny;  grandchildren:  Diane, James, Jefta, Joseph, Lukie, Henry David, Aleesha;  brother Paul Nochasak.  She was predeceased by her husbands Paul Obed and William Onalik, her parents Sam and Harriet; grandchildren:  Daniel, Diamond, Matshiu, Kailyn; sisters: Clara Ford, Theresa Jararuse as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Visitation will take be at the Moravian Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from the Moravian Church at 3 P.M. with Pastor Tracey Freake officiating, interment to follow at the Moravian Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy flowers will be accepted and donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Special thanks to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.
