It is with great sadness that the Family of Lori Roberts-Stone announces her passing on Friday, November 23, 2018 after a protracted battle with cancer at the age of 43. Lori will lovingly remembered by her husband Chad Stone, mother Doris, sister Denise (Peter) Niece Hillary, nephew Gavin, mother-in-law Genevieve, brother-in-law Randell (Colleen), nephew Randy and great niece Ava, Nan Susie (Wallace). Also remembered by a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by Father Eli Roberts and niece Reyna Russell. Lori was born on April 07, 1975, to father (late Eli Roberts and Mother (Doris Roberts), she grew up in a small town in Mary’s Harbour’s. Later met Chad Stone, the love of her life and married him on September 18, 2010. Three years ago Lori was diagnosed with cancer and fought it every day with so much grace her love for live and such a positive attitude inspirited everyone around here, she always had a smile no matter what trials life gave her Cancer does not care who it takes, who it hurts, it comes into your life and starts to break the threads that hold you and left to see pieces of yourself slip away and dreams fade, but in the end the most amazing things happen, Cancer loses its strengths and grace appears. We need to see it, we accept it, and go with it, Grace and Love win NOT CANCER. Visitation will be held at St Mary the Virgin Church in Mary’s Harbour on Tuesday all day and Wednesday until 11 am, private family visitation from 11-12 noon. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m.
